For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son. Think on that, reflect on the love the Father has for everyone of us.
For if Abraham could take His son of promise and offer him up to the Lord out of trust, love and obedience then how much more could the Heavenly Father give His Son in Whom all things rested. That seed, His life which contains all the promises of God, having been laid down and buried came bursting forth with resurrection power from God. Whether noticeable at times or not it will one day consume all things, reveal all things. In your life this begins in you, His life is in you. When as Abraham you trust the Lord by laying down your life in trust, love and obedience recognizing that you, your old man, your old identity was crucified and buried with Him and that you have been raised to new life then you will see the promise of the Father, who is the Son, glorified in and through you. You may not see it but His life is in you.
Therefore fix your eyes on Jesus, within, the Author and Finisher of your faith. Eat of Him the nectar of life and all these things will be added to you. You need not care, be worried or overwhelmed by the daily affairs of this life. He who began a good work in you will be faithful to complete it. He is our faithfulness. Look to and feed from His life today.
